Cruiserweight Chris Billam-Smith started slow but he ended things with a vicious bang at the Bournemouth International Arena.

Billam-Smith (17-1, 12 KOs) blasted out Armend Xhoxhaj (14-3, 7 KOs) in the fifth round.

Xhoxhaj came out pressing and firing in the first two rounds. With very fast hands, he was able to sting Billam-Smith a few times with heavy punches.

Billam-Smith began to come back by the fourth, as his heavier blows were affecting Xhoxhaj, who was game and firing back. Billam-Smith was cut above the left eye.

In the fifth, Billam-Smith connected with a multi-fight combination that brutally sent Xhoxhaj flat on his back and the fight was quickly waved off.
