Saturday, Dec. 9

FITE PPV, 7:30 pm ET, Redneck Brawl 4: Georgia vs Alabama.
DAZN PPV, 8:00 pm ET, Devin Haney vs Regis Prograis. $59.99 with DAZN, also $74.99 if you want to order at PPV.com without DAZN. Main event obviously has Haney moving up to 140 to challenge for Prograis’ WBC belt. Undercard has Liam Paro vs Montana Love, Andy Cruz vs Hector Tanajara, and Ebanie Bridges will now face Miyo Yoshida instead of Avril Mathie, who got hurt. Wil and myself will have the normal big, bursting, full coverage you’ve come to know and love and complain about our scoring. BLH will have live coverage.
ESPN and ESPN+, 5:40 pm ET, Robeisy Ramirez vs Rafael Espinoza. Espinoza is unbeaten, but has not fought at world level. But ESPN and Top Rank like to have a “Heisman” show every year now, which is a nice tradition, and this is what was available at the moment. Xander Zayas faces veteran Jorge Fortea in a 10-rounder, and Richard Torrez Jr will fight Curtis Harper, who ain’t gonna win or anything but does at least have any business in a ring. John will be here for those of you who want to watch Robeisy. I mean, I want to watch Robeisy, I just can’t. Not live, anyway. But you can! With John! BLH will have live coverage.
Sunday, Dec. 10
Peacock, 1:00 pm ET, Chris Billam-Smith vs Mateusz Masternak. Another Boxxer show on Peacock, also of course on Sky in the UK. Back to Bournemouth with Billam-Smith defending his WBO cruiserweight title against the Polish veteran Masternak. Ben Whittaker, Lauren Price, and Francesca Hennessy are all in action, plus more. Michael McKinson will have some sort of stay-busy. I’ll be here, while praying to the heavens that the Haney-Prograis post-fight isn’t a late one. BLH will have live coverage.
