Peacock to stream U.S. Olympic trial finals on Saturday

Fighting

Here’s a fun little appetizer for Saturday’s busy boxing evening, which features both Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on DAZN PPV and Robeisy Ramirez vs Rafael Espinoza on ESPN+. NBC Sports announced today that its various outlets will stream the final day of Team USA’s Paris 2024 boxing trials.

Competition is Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. ET and Friday at 1 p.m. at usaboxing.org/live-stream. Then Saturday’s final day of bouts streams on NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app and Peacock from 1-5 p.m.

David Austin and Mikaela Mayer have the mic on Saturday.

Five fighters have already qualified at the Pan American Games: Jajaira Gonzalez (60 kg/132 lbs.), Jennifer Lozano (57 kg/125.4 lbs.), Morelle McCane (75 kg/165 lbs.), Jahmal Harvey (57 kg/125.4 lbs.),, and Joshua Edwards (>92 kg/202.4 lbs.). Harvey and Edwards notably won gold.

The press release also names Dedrick Crocklem, Jordan Roach, Benjamin Johnson, Lupe Gutierrez, Yoseline Perez, Sa’Rai Brown-El, and Kayla Gomez as ones to watch. Gotta say, pulling for Crocklem to win gold just based on the name along.
