How does the 5 v 5 concept work?

Promoters Frank Warren (Queensberry) and Eddie Hearn (Matchroom) have selected five fighters each to compete against one another. The weight classes are featherweight, middleweight, light-heavyweight and heavyweight where there will be two contests. Points are scored as follows: One point for a decision win, two points for a KO/TKO win, zero points for a draw, captain’s scores will be doubled.

Dmitry Bivol will defend his WBA Light-Heavyweight title against Malik Zinad on the card but is not part of the 5 v 5 competition
