Hurd vs Rosario: Live stream and updates – 8 pm ET

Fighting

It’s another ProBox Wednesday night, and we’ve got live coverage here at Bad Left Hook! Tonight, Jarrett Hurd and Jeison Rosario meet in a ProBox TV main event, set for 10 rounds in the middleweight division.

The show starts at 8 pm ET, so join us then for full live coverage in the comments section below!

Hurd (25-3, 17 KO) was a unified champion at 154 lbs., winning consecutive fights against against Tony Harrison, Austin Trout, and Erislandy Lara to make his reputation as an action fighter with punishing power. A surprising 2019 upset loss to Julian “J-Rock” Williams hinted those earlier battles had taken a toll, a theory supported by subsequent losses by decision to Luis Arias and by stoppage to Armando Resendiz.

Rosario (24-4-1, 18 KO) was also a junior middleweight champion, beating J-Rock Williams by 5th round TKO in Williams’s first defense of what had been Hurd’s belts. Rosario then lost his first title defense to Jermell Charlo by KO-8, lost again the next time out by KO-6 to Erickson Lubin, and lost his only significant fight since to Brian Mendoza in 2022, also by knockout.

With no disrespect to their notable achievements of 4-5 years ago, both men have looked clearly past their best in recent outings. But, either could be one or two wins away from another meaningful opportunity in a wide-open middleweight division, and both men have enough name value to help revitalize the reputation of whoever wins tonight.
