‘It’s inevitable that we are going to get back in the ring’: Tommy Fury anticipates rematch with Jake Paul

Fighting

Tommy Fury is slated for his next boxing match, but it’ll come against former UFC fighter Darren Till in January. So while Fury and Jake Paul both have a lot in common with how they approach their ‘boxing careers,’ it’s only a matter of time before they meet once again.

Fury handed Jake Paul his first and only professional loss thus far, winning a split decision in early 2023, and he believes it’s something that still eats at Paul while telling ESPN that it will eventually steer towards a second meeting between the two.

“He’s only got one defeat and that’s to me, so it’s inevitable that we are going to get back in the ring…I know I’m going to be an improved fighter and with him the [fights] he’s taking and what he’s doing, I’m not sure if he’s going to improve that much.”

For now Fury says he’s been putting in tons of work in the gym during his time off and expects to be a much better fighter than we’ve last seen him.
