Boxing streaming and TV schedule for Nov. 12-16

Fighting

Tuesday, Nov. 12

PPV, 5:00 pm ET, Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Dannis Arias. A Miami show put on by “E11EN X BOXR,” where BOXR is a Miami area gym and E11EN is the sort of swanky nightclub that seems like it wouldn’t let most boxing fans in on anything other than a fight night. This one is dear to my heart, because it’s produced by Rick Tugman, former ProBox director and BLH Explainer interview subject. And because the main event is for a lesser WBC trinket, featuring Guillermo Rigondeaux, still going strong at a Cuban age 44 despite suffering severe cornea injuries in a pressure cooker accident in 2022. Rigondeaux is a traditional Cuban style, but he’ll always be precious to me for inspiring the article that solidified my presence and ongoing employment as a writer here early in my tenure with Bad Left Hook. AND, the undercard features Gabe Rosado, who is not only one of my favorite interview subjects, but also a rising (and exceptionally insightful) boxing commentator, in a fight against former MMA and bare knuckle champion Luis “Baboon” Palomino for a commemorative WBC prize. PPV is available for $9.99, with Teofimo Lopez promoted as part of the commentary. BLH may have live updates.

Thursday, Nov. 14

TrillerTV+, 6:30 pm ET, Kim Clavel vs Mayela Perez. The tagline here is: “Impitoyable” (Ruthless). A seven fight card out of Montreal. The promotional poster would look like something you’d see at a European film festival advertising an art film about a plucky woman in a track suit and her beloved horse, if not for the tiny photos of six other fighters at the bottom of the sheet.

Friday, Nov. 15

DAZN, 11:00 am ET, Ahmed Elbiali vs Guillermo Andino. A King’s Corner show from Dubai.

DAZN, 1:00 pm ET, Abdul Khan vs John Edwardson. A Blockone Sports show from Liverpool.

Netflix, 8:00 pm ET, Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson. The people who gave you “Floor is Lava” and “Is It Cake?” now offer you this Very Serious Boxing Event, where 58 year old Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will fight eight two-minute rounds in 14 ounce gloves. Enjoy that to whatever degree you choose, but make sure you check out the rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano for an enormous heap of super lightweight belts. The deeper undercard includes a WBC welterweight title fight between Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos, Bruce “Chu Chu” Carrington, and Shadasia Green. You’ll get it for no extra charge with a regular Netflix subscription. BLH will have live updates.

Saturday, Nov. 16

DAZN, 12:00 pm ET, Zurdo Ramirez vs Chris Billam-Smith. Riyadh Season Latino Night from Saudi Arabia. Zurdo and CBS headline in a cruiserweight unification fight, where one man will exit with Zurdo’s WBA belt and Billam-Smith’s WBO belt. Unless, of course, there’s a draw, and everyone goes home with their own jewelry again. In support: Jose Ramirez vs Arnold Barboza, William Zepeda vs Tevin Farmer, and Oscar Collazo defending his WBO title. BLH will have live updates.

DAZN, 7:00 pm ET, Dominique Crowder vs Duke Micah. A Boxing Insider show from Atlantic City.

DAZN, 8:00 pm ET, Jimerr Espinoza vs Rogelio Jimenez. A Miura Boxing show out of Mexico.
