With Hurricane Milton heading toward Florida, the October 9 ProBox TV show near Tampa will be held a week later.

Winds of more than 110mph are anticipated to hit the state so the show, headlined by the 10-round lightweight bout between Chris Colbert, 17-2 (6 KOs), and Omar Salcido, 19-1 (13 KOs), will now take place on October 16.

Also on the bill, unbeaten junior lightweight Tsendbaatar Erdenbat, 10-0 (5 KOs), meets 15-1 (11 KOs) Frency Fortunato Saya over 10 and unbeaten light heavyweight contender Najee Lopez, 11-0 (8 KOs), faces 7-3-1 (5 KOs) Anthony Hernandez in an eight rounder.

“Hurricane Milton is heading straight for Tampa and the west coast of Florida,” said ProBox TV CEO Garry Jonas. “So in abundance of caution we have postponed our October 9 show and pending the Florida Commission approval, we are pushing it to Wednesday, October 16.”
