Tyson Fury’s final punch to finish his epic rivalry with Deontay Wilder wins the 2021 knockout of the year award

KNOCKOUT OF THE YEAR 2021

1. TYSON FURY w ko 11 DEONTAY WILDER
After 29 rounds, it had to end this way. It had to be clean, there could be no judging controversies, no retirements on stools and no rows with trainers or referees about stopping it too soon. One man had to be knocked out to end this fierce and engrossing trilogy. That man was Deontay Wilder, who gave so much more than many predicted before this epic third fight. And it was Tyson Fury who roared in celebration after his booming right hand made Wilder lurch into the ropes and sink to the canvas, bloodied and thoroughly beaten.
